Outage Tips

While we try very had to make sure you have the best internet experience possible from our service, we recognize there may be times where you are not able to access the internet. About 95% of the time the issue can be resolved by simply unplugging the power that is connected to the antenna up on the roof. Your installer should have pointed this out upon completing your installation. This will reset your antenna and usually resolves the issue. We always recommend this as the first step.

If you are using a wireless router, there are a couple of additional steps you can try. First, try unplugging the power on your router for about 10 seconds and then plugging it back in. If resetting your router doesn’t change anything, a final thing to try involves your wireless card. If you are using a laptop with a built-in wireless card, turn the wireless card off and then turn it back on. This process varies depending on your laptop. For example, if you have a Dell laptop, you usually can turn the wireless card on and off by pressing ‘Fn’+F2. Toshiba laptops usually have an actual switch on the front of the computer.

Of course you can always contact us with questions or concerns. We do everything we can to make sure you are completely satisfied with our service.
